Toshiba and Japanese mobile carrier KDDI have introduced eReader, Biblio Leaf SP02 for the Japanese market. This e-reader has 6-inch monochrome screen (16 shades) with 800×600 resolution. Specifications and review of Toshiba Biblio Leaf SP02 are mentioned below.
The users can enjoy a calendar, a calculator and a notebook function. The device has 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and supports XMDF/PDF/EPUB files. The Leaf’s internal memory is extended up to 2GB via microSD cards. The Leaf is sized at 198×130×9.6mm and weighs 295.8g.
Mini solar panel is the most important feature of this eReader, that’s built into the bottom right of the device. Toshiba doesn’t give any explanation about how powerful the panel will be but says that if the battery is fully charged then users will be capable to revolve about 7,500 pages successively and it will improve the battery life of the device when you read under the sunlight.
In this December, eReader will be accessible in Japan, but yet there isn’t any declaration of international availability. It has microSD card support and a microUSB port that permits ample of storage options to carry around a small library on this device.
