Sprint’s Sanyo Innuendo unveiled, specs & features emerge

Sprint, the North American mobile operator, announced the Sanyo Innuendo on 13 September 2010. It is a messaging-friendly handset with a full QWERTY keyboard. Sanyo Innuendo contains a touch keypad with vibrating feedback and a small external display, which is hidden when the backlight is off, on the outside. On a side pivot, the Innuendo also tosses open to reveal a 2.8-inch WQVGA display and the messaging keyboard. In Sanyo Innuendo, feature set is of midrange, but it increases the camera resolution from 2 to 3.2 mega-pixels.Sanyo Innuendo via Sprint

Kyocera manufactured a new mobile phone, Sanyo Innuendo. Integrated social-networking apps, a proximity sensor, and MP3 player, a microSD card slot (a 1GB card comes in the box), threaded text messaging, GPS, messaging and e-mail, speaker-independent voice dialing, support for 3G (EV-DO) networks, stereo Bluetooth, a speakerphone, and a personal organizer are included in other goodies. After a $50 mail-in rebate, Sanyo Innuendo can be bought at $49.99 with a two-year contract.

With a side opening, equipped with a QWERTY-keyboard and 2.8-inch LCD display, this model looks stylish clamshell. These days, Sanyo and Sprint are up to some good in the lower end market of handsets. Larger the WQVGA internal display is added in Sanyo Innuendo, its front boasts a 1.3” display that is hidden and also has a 12 button standard keyboard that is touch sensitive on the front as well. For those people, who often work with text messaging or spend a lot of time in social networks, Sanyo Innuendo is ideal.
