Reggie Bush suffers leg Injury

In the fourth quarter of the Saints vs. 49ers Monday Night Football match, Reggie Bush suffered his right leg injury. During the match, New Orleans Saints team player Reggie fell on the ground after a few steps and required help off. Saints vs. 49ers match was won by New Orleans Saints after defeating San Francisco 49ers with score 25-22 on September 20.

On early Tuesday, New Orleans.com spotted that Reggie Bush suffered a leg injury and he would miss next six weeks. ESPN.com also reported a six-week absence, the both reports referred on unknown sources.

During the match, Bush was fielding a punt, and muffed the ball then after he was appeared to hurt himself lunging to try to get well it. He tried to stand and excess the field but then fell to the lawn. He was taken on a cart to the locker room shortly after the injury then Owner Tom Benson came up to Bush in the locker room and suggest words of encouragement as well.

Last Tuesday, the injury capped a difficult past few days for Bush, who returned his Heisman Trophy.

Bush said to media that he will not know the extent of the injury until X-rays are taken in New Orleans on Tuesday.

After the injury, Bush was in pain on the field, then he tried to run back to the sideline, but dropped on the ground and he was seen on crutches after the game.

Bush also said to media, “I tried to recover (the ball after a muff) and somebody took my leg out. I don’t know who it was, what happened or how it happened. I just know my leg got taken out. That’s it. It hurt like hell.” He said, “When I got back up and tried to walk on it, it felt terrible. That’s all I can say.”

USC was punished by NCAA after concluding that Bush and his family received money and gifts from sports agents while Bush played for the Trojans. Bush told that he returned the award to end the controversy. He said, “It’s been a pretty tough week. It’s just the way life goes.”

I’m just trying not to think the worst and just try to stay as positive as I can in this situation,” said Bush. He added, “That’s all you can do, hope for the best.” He said he likely would get X-rays after the team returned to New Orleans. In the past, Bush has suffered left knee injuries.”

Before leaving the match, Bush had a 43-yard punt come back that directed to a Garrett Hartley field goal. Bush had also four receptions for 30 yards, including a 6-yard touchdown, and rushed five times for 4 yards.

The team doctors will be looking at Bush extremely when the team gets home and the early diagnosis could very well finish up being altered to a more excessive approach in the close future.

Reggie said, “Last second it kind of shifted a little bit, just enough for me to drop it. I tried to recover it and somebody took my leg out. I don’t know who it was, what happened or how it happened. I just know my leg got taken out. That’s it.
