A lot of Netflix website users experienced any difficulties accessing the site and they all answered in negative. Netflix is one of the top internet movie services website. They offer their customers to watch as many movies as they want in just 9 dollars per month which is almost free as well as they send movie DVDs on request. There was a problem yesterday on 12th August 13, 2010, but today there is no problem on this site.

Without any clarification as to what happened, users who tried to login to their Netflix accounts during the night were greeted with the following message:

“We’re sorry; the Netflix website is temporarily unavailable. Our shipping centers are continuing to send and receive DVDs, so your movies will be processed as usual. And you can still instantly watch movies via your Netflix ready device. Our engineers are working hard to bring the site back up as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and, again, we apologize for the inconvenience. If you need further assistance, please call us at 1-866-636-3079.”

A particular movie created a massive rush to the Netflix website since Netflix is notorious for not having new releases. Odds are, Neflix had server issues that caused the site to go down.

Some users were reporting that when they try to rent a film or watch a show they get an error message saying the Netflix website is temporarily unavailable.

The issue will be resolved very soon because Netflix’s engineers are currently trying to fix the problem.
