Prof Hawking is the inspiration behind one garden created by the Motor Neurone Disease Association. The famous academic suffers from the disease and the plot’s dark swirling water feature acts as an analogy for being diagnosed with the condition, while a curved stone folly represents a protected and safe place. Previous year the Australian garden was cancelled due to the Major bush fire but they are back this year.
You will also see £20 million ‘jewellled garden’ designed by David Domoney. Biggest garden in Chelsea will be Eden Project worth 6,000 square feet. Children’s Society garden designed by Mark Gregory features a fire pit and pizza oven.
Sir, when will Chelsea Flower Show 2010 start?
