Tata Motors launch most fuel-efficient sedan ‘Tata Indigo e-CS’

Tata Motors, India’s largest automobile company, has finally announced the commercial launch of its all new Tata Indigo e-CS in the country.

Tata Indigo e-CS, which is claimed to be the most fuel-efficient sedan in the country, is built on the existing Tata Indigo platform, and feature an all new 1.4 litre CR4 Common Rail Diesel engine, which will offer an ARAI approved mileage of 23.03 kmpl, the highest for any sedan presently available in the country.

Apart from this, Tata Indigo e-CS is also available with the 1.2 litre MPFI petrol engine to provide customers with a wider choice. It should be noted that both above-mentioned engines are compliant with BS4 emission norms, which presently applicable in 13 cities of India.

In addition to its basis features such as AC, power steering and power windows, Tata Indigo e-CS offer exciting features, which includes a new satin finish front grill, new headlamps, a Bluetooth enabled music system and electrical controls for ORVMs.

Tata Indigo e-CS comes in a range of 4 colours, along with a warranty of 18 months for an unlimited no. of kilometers. The sedan is priced at Rs 4.07 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) for the MPFI petrol base eGLS version going upto Rs 5.13 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) for the top-end eLX version of the CR4 diesel.
