Justin Bieber turned 16 back on March 1st and as per Diddy promise he gave his white Lamborghini Gallardo’s key. He fulfills his promise and 16-year-old pop singer Justin Bieber was spotted driving his $200,000 Lamborghini Gallardo around Los Angeles on Tuesday with his pal Sean Kingston in the passenger seat. Bieber just got his license 3 months ago but thought Diddy was just kidding.
“Hey, give this kid his due,” TMZ’s Harvey Levin remarked. “He’s having fun; he’s got some money so he buys a car. It’s not like he’s goin nuts. Good for Justin Bieber.” Watch TMZ’s report, featuring the Bieber driving with Sean Kingston, via MySpace below. “He said when I turn 16 he was going to give me his Lamborghini. We all know Diddy’s not going to give me his Lamborghini, he’s all talk.”
The white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder (henceforth affectionately referred to as a “Bieberghini”) retails for upwards of $210,000, according to Yahoo! Autos. Lamborghinis have become a sort of go-to luxury vehicle for famous people. Other celebrities who’ve been known to drive Lamborghinis include Soulja Boy, Kobe Bryant, Bam Margera, Benji Madden, David Beckham, and Wilmer Valderrama.
Bieber’s fro-yo cohort, rapper Sean Kingston, has his own Lamborghini. Kingston challenged Bow Wow to a race in their respective “Lambos” in 2009. In January, Bow Wow caused a bit of a stir when he tweeted about driving his Gallardo while “tipsy.” He later apologized for the tweet, saying it wasn’t a great way to kick off 2010.
Justin’s life story has been turned into a comic book. He has been animated for “Fame: Justin Bieber,” which chronicles his childhood in Canada and his rise to fame after he was discovered on YouTube. The Bluewater Productions comic will also feature the Baby hit-maker’s first headlining tour.
