Jennifer Love Hewitt returning to TV Series after Ghost Whisperer Cancelled

After cancellation of the show Ghost Whisperer, Jennifer Love Hewitt fans have become despaired but it is good news for her fans that she is returning to the TV Series. US network Fox seems to do a new show starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. Jennifer Love Hewitt is reportedly in talks with Fox about a new half-hour comedy described as “the female version of The Big Bang Theory”, according to Deadline.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is an American actress, television director, voice actress, singer-songwriter, author, and film and television producer who appeared in Fox’s wildly successful teen drama Party of Five. First time, Hewitt has reunited with the network Fox. At the end of last season, an American television supernatural drama the Ghost Whisperer was cancelled which ran on CBS.

Details of the new show have not yet been released. However, an American director, writer and actor best known for directing the films Van Wilder and Wild Hogs, Walt Becker will direct the show, female version of The Big Bang Theory. Nancy Drew writer Tiffany Paulsen will be writing the script of the new series.

US network Fox is currently in negotiations to pick up the comedy series. Recently, Hewitt has been working on her comic skills with a guest stint in the pilot for NBC’s upcoming hour-long comedy series Love Bites. At American network’s upfront presentation in May, her appearance was screened.

Walt Becker is a comparative newcomer to TV but scored big this spring with the period sorority comedy pilot Glory Daze, which directed by him and co-wrote with Michael LeSieur. For new series, TBS picked it which is slated to air later this year. In the 90’s, Jennifer Love Hewitt got her big break on their hit series Party of Five back.
