Greg Giraldo’s Funeral arrangement not confirmed yet

One of the sad and shocking news for the fans of Comedian Greg Giraldo is that he died on 29th September, 2010 due to an accidental overdose of prescription medication. After consuming prescription medication, he was found in a very critical condition in his room. He had been hospitalized in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, but he was failed to survive. It seems that the medium of comedy has lost a brother today.

Comedian Jim Norton reported this on his twitter account and it was checked by other media, but long after the “RIP Greg” messages hit Twitter. As per the recent report, the comedy club is getting ready in the arrangements of memorial for the Comedian at 10:30 on Friday where he was to give his performance. At his memorial ceremony, the club will run his videos and no admission fee will be charged. The fund which is raised through the memorial will be given to the family of Greg Giraldo.

On Wednesday, Giraldo initially was honored by such peers as Sarah Silverman, Jimmy Kimmel, Aziz Ansari, “30 Rock” star Judah Friedlander, fellow Comedy Central roaster Lisa Lampanelli and one of the targets of his laser-guided roast zingers, David Hasselhoff. Details about the funeral services of the great and young comedian, Greg Giraldo is yet to disclose. Giraldo’s management, The Collective, issued a statement this evening: The Collective mourns the passing of our great friend and colleague Greg Giraldo. As you may know, Greg was the father of three young children and genius comedic talent who was revered, admired and loved by our comedy community.

Greg Giraldo left his professional career because he wants to be a comedy. Greg Giraldo was well-known for his insult comic and the appearance on roast series. He had three children. The tragic news of Greg’s approval strikes very hard. Greg was a member of the immediate family of Comedy Central for years, the injection of energy and sense of humor in countless projects.
