After undergoing hip replacement surgery earlier in the week, on 24th July, Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was in critical condition, as per her husband. Zsa Zsa Gabor fell out of her bed last weekend, after that she had injuries to the right side of her body, including a broken hip, her husband Frederic von Anhalt said. After injuries, she was trying to get into a wheelchair at her Bel-Air home.
Gabor is 93 years old. As per Zsa Zsa’s publicist John Blanchette, initially she emerged to be recovering after the hip surgery Monday at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. He said a stroke during surgery might have been suffered by the actress, but von Anhalt said doctors have not confirmed there was a stroke. “It’s just speculation,” von Anhalt said. “We have to wait a few more days to see what is going on.” Von Anhalt said his wife was conscious. “She looks at us but doesn’t know what is going on,” he said.
Gabor’s husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, said Friday on 24th July that his wife, while not in a coma, was not responsive. “The doctors want to observe her over the weekend to make sure her condition improves, but right now it is not looking good,” Von Anhalt said.
On 24th July, a report that her mother was critically ill and not responding to human contact was denied by Zsa Zsa Gabor’s daughter. Constance Francesca Hilton said in a statement to Reuters, “She is not in a coma. She is not on any kind of death watch. She is responsive and on medications. All vital signs are still going strong, and she is talking.”
After being partially paralyzed in a 2002 car accident, Gabor, a Hungarian-born sexpot of the 1950s and 1960s, has to use a wheelchair. Blanchette said, the wheelchair’s brake was not on and it moved away, that result she falls last weekend.
