EAMCET stands for Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test. The ranks of EAMCET will be declared on 16 July 2010. EAMCET is the annually entrance examination for admissions into professional courses offered in Government and Private Colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
This year, there are 3.5 Lakhs of students were appeared for EAMCET 2010 engineering and Medical seats. The results and marks for the Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2010 were declared by JNT University on Wednesday, Jun 16 2010 as EAMCET 2010 (Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test) Exam that was held on May 30, 2010. Usually it is conducted by May 15 every year but EAMCET 2010 had postponed to May 30.
Every year a large number of students from across the state of Andhra Pradesh appear for EAMCET and the competition is quite tough. Md. Ghouse Jani got the highest marks159 out of 160 which is 99.375% in EAMCET this year. He is a son of an auto driver from Vizag district. Md. Ghouse Jani emerged as the topper.
EAMCET is conducted by JNT (JawaharLal Nehru Technological University) in Hyderabad every year on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The Jawahar Lal Nehru Technical University (JNTU) is located in Hyderabad, state of Andhra Pradesh India.
It is one of the most competitive exams in Andhra Pradesh and the gateway for entry in a number of professional courses like engineering, medical, pharmacy, biotechnology, veterinary etc in private/government colleges in Andhra Pradesh. For all the intermediate students, it is a common entrance exam consisting of questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in order to get Engineering seats, Medical Seats, Bpharmacy seats in various government and private colleges that offer the courses in various streams.
DN Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of JNTU-H informed at a press conference held on Saturday 26 June, 2010 that “Second shift in engineering colleges will not be permitted. A system for grading engineering colleges in the State will be introduced after the completion of admissions” And he added, “Action will be taken against engineering colleges that go against the rules in filling management quota seats.”
In the state, approximately 25 new engineering colleges will be started with an additional 15000 seats from this year. 26 June, 2010 was the last date of applying for verification of OMR sheets.

Yet the EAMCET 2010 Rank is not announced but it can be generate through EAMCET rank predictor or EAMCET 2010 rank estimator.
