Yesterday, on 12th October 2010, Nissan announced U.S. pricing details for the new 2011 Nissan Murano crossover, which is now on sale countrywide. Get the specifications information below, and Prices start at $28,500 for the entry-level 2011 Murano S with front-wheel-drive.
A number of significant enhancements are received by Murano for 2011 including the addition of a new Murano SV trim level and the addition of the previous optional Premium, Leather, Moonroof and Technology Packages as standard equipment on the Murano SL.
The other two new models have been added to the 2011 lineup: SV FWD and SV AWD. They join the Murano S FWD, Murano S AWD, Murano SL FWD, Murano SL AWD, Murano LE FWD and Murano LE AWD. All 2011 Nissan Murano models are powered by a 260-hp 3.5L V6 engine mated to an Xtronic CVT transmission.
Look a little close to notice the major changes but the 2011 Murano gets a refreshed grille and now looks cleaner with two vertical bars rather than three from the previous model. You can also see the changes like new taillights, new 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels and a refreshed front bumper. The Graphite Blue exterior color is also new for 2011. Some interior upgrades for 2011 are a new white meter color, new center stack colors and added equipment to various trim levels.

2011 Nissan Murano sales started in mid-October with two new trim levels joining the lineup including SV FWD and SV AWD, for a total of eight models. The lineup offers the widest range of equipment and feature combinations to fit a new buyer budget while that may make life more confusing for the shopper.
A standard VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 rated at 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque on regular unleaded gasoline are featured in all 2011 Muranos. An advanced Xtronic CVT™ provides a sporty and smooth driving experience. All Muranos have vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS) standard. Murano has front-wheel drive or with an Intuitive All-Wheel Drive system.
Murano gives a solid foundation and lightweight suspension components, dual flow path shock absorbers and a twin-orifice speed-sensitive power steering system and is built on Nissan’s proven “D” platform.
