The previous GT-R base model has been eradicated and new model Nissan GT-R 2011 enters in the market with a number of enhancements and a simplified model lineup. The 2011 Nissan GT-R  is obtainable in one model with 485-horsepower engine, dual clutch rear transmission, Nissan Navigation System, custom-designed 11-speaker Bose, premium near-black finish wheels, Bridgestone RE070A tires and heated front seats. Three options are alternative are provided, a Cold Weather Package that contains Dunlop all-season tires and unique coolant/water ratio, special Super-Silver paint and the Ultra-High Performance Tire Package.

Nissan has dropped the base GT-R model, leaving the GT-R Premium only available in the 2011 Nissan GT-R. This new model contains slightly darker wheel center caps, double clear coat on the front and rear fascias and the addition of rear cooling ducts to develop cooling performance around the rear floor area. The suspension has been retuned and the rear bushing strengthened to improve ride reassure to maintain the GT-R’s terrific handling. It has features like auto on/off headlights and speed-sensitive windshield wipers are now standard, along with a USB iPod interface, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth and DVD playback.

The navigation system holds XM NavTraffic and NavWeather capability along with premium points-of-interest (POI). It has GR6 dual-clutch six-speed automatic transmission. The GT-R’s powertrain is best for a zero to 60 times of 3.5 seconds, a quarter mile time of only 11.7 seconds and a top speed of 192 mph. GT-R lapped the Nurburgring’s Nordschleife in 7 min 35 seconds placing it in elite company. GT-R lapped the track faster than a Mercedes SLR McLaren (7 min 40 sec), Porsche 911 Turbo (7 min 40 sec) and the Corvette Z06 (7 min 42 sec).

GT-R gets body construction unites carbon fiber and die-cast aluminum, and when achieving high front and rear downforce, a low coefficient of drag of 0.27. Standard safety tools contains a Nissan Advanced Air Bag System for driver and front passenger, front seat-mounted side that impact supplemental air bags for driver and front-passenger and standard roof-mounted curtain side that impact supplemental air bags for front seat occupant head protection, along with front seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters and tension reducers, and three-point ELR/ALR rear seat belts.

The Nissan GT-R provides a long list of safety features such as improved visibility indoors and out of the vehicle, high-mounted LED stoplights, bright LED rear combination taillights, “super wide beam” headlights. It also holds specially designed 11-speaker Bose and audio system features two forward-facing woofers in the rear center armrest area.

The 2011 model is obtainable in five colors such as black, metallic, silver, white, and red. Interior fabric comes in an optional black leather or gray leather, both with synthetic suede.
