On Wednesday, the guest list of Chelsea Clinton and Mark Mezvinsky’s wedding ceremony was released, which will be occurred on July 31. President Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Barbra Streisand are on the 500 A list of guests to watch Chelsea Clinton say “I do” at her July 31 wedding to longtime beau Marc Mezvinsky.
The former first daughter’s nuptials ceremony will be held at Aster Court in the picturesque village of Rhinebeck, located 90 miles north of New York City, and also a popular resort for many celebrities. The Hudson Valley News also reports that former campaign aides Harold Ickes and Terry McAuliffe have received invitations to the 500-person event in Rhinebeck, N.Y., along with Steven Spielberg, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Ted Turner and former British Prime Minister John Major.
Hundreds of Hollywood stars and political heavyweights will celebrate the marriage of Former U.S. Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s only daughter. Filmmaker Steven Spielberg and his wife, Kate Capshaw, and media mogul Ted Turner are included in their guest list. Manhattan socialite Denise Rich, ex-wife of fugitive financier Marc Rich, who won an eleventh-hour pardon from then-President Bill Clinton, is also among the invitees.
The Hudson Valley News reported that Obama would likely travel to Stewart Airport in Newburgh aboard Air Force One and then take Marine One into Rhinebeck. But White House spokesman Robert Gibbs refused to say if Obama was planning to attend the nuptials. Gibbs said, “Not that I’m aware of“.
In November, 2009 Chelsea, 30, announced her engagement to investment banker Mark Mezvinsky, also the offspring of two politicians. The wedding is scheduled for July 31, and is going to close off what has been an extremely busy month as far as celebrity weddings go. Some of the other people to have tied the knot in 2010 thus far include Carrie Underwood, John Krasinski, and most recently Javier Bardem to Penelope Cruz.
Earlier this month, news outlets reported Clinton had selected Astor Court a 50-acre estate once owned by wealthy scion John Jacob Astor IV — to wed her longtime beau. Representatives from the Clintons have been mum with specifics on the hot-ticket wedding.
The 30-year-old bride and 32-year-old groom have reserved the sprawling Grasmere Estate on the edge of town for their rehearsal dinner. Bubba went to the White House yesterday for a closed-door meeting with Obama and business leaders. But it was not known if the former President personally delivered a wedding invitation to Obama.
